At Wellesley boot camp, ‘Twinkie’ is a four-letter word
A careless slip of the tongue, such as saying “Twinkies” or “potato chips,” can prove painful around Andy Maus.
The punishment for naming one of these unhealthy treats is 20 pushups, said Maus, owner of a new exercise “boot camp” in Wellesley. Boston Adventure Boot Camp is a monthlong camp aimed at helping women stay active and achieve their fitness goals. Sessions go throughout the year, with the next one starting July 7. Campers, ranging from women in their mid-20s to early 50s, meet three to five times a week in the early morning at Warren Park on Washington Street.
