Fake roads, real rules

Boxford police and fire staff went through an emergency driving safety course this past week sponsored by the town’s insurance company, the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Agency or MIIA. MIIA sent an instructor and former police officer to lead both classroom training and practical instruction inside a simulation van parked outside the Spofford Road police station.

Rail trail funds back on track
Topsfield -Boxford Rail Trail Committee Chairman Steve Davis said it appeared miscommunication was to blame for problem that caused the design funding to be pulled for several weeks. -
Selectmen deny conservation restriction
Boxford -The board’s consensus on the town-owned property was that it had been untouched without a conservation restriction before and that it is better to keep it unrestricted just in case land is needed by the town. -
